What to expect during your visit

Your first session focuses on understanding what you are experiencing and how it impacts your daily life. From there, we develop a personalised plan based on your goals and needs.

  • Treatment options may include:
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness and relaxation strategies
  • Solution-focused counselling
  • Trauma-informed therapy
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Psychological support and education

Sessions can be provided one-on-one, in couples, or as part of a group, depending on your care plan and preferences.

Fees and Medicare rebates

If you are eligible, your GP can prepare a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). This allows you to access Medicare rebates for a set number of sessions with a qualified mental health provider. Some services may have out-of-pocket costs, depending on your referral and eligibility.
